dc.description.abstractChildhood experience has long lasting effects which are difficult to alter subsequently. It promotes maximum learning and mediates between the child and the outside world, providing a filter and a bridge towards other stages in life. It fulfills the irreplaceable function of laying the bases for adjustment of the individual within the society thus the capacity of integration co – operation and creativity has its roots in family living. This stage has been ignored in various societies thus most parents do not care taking their children to school. Hence interfering with the supply and use of instructional materials. The purpose of this study is to examine the implications of the use of the instructional materials in Chinga Zone , Nyeri South District Nyeri County , Kenya. The researcher intends to use descriptive research design. The data will be collected and analysed through quantitative methods. The target was the public schools – in Chinga Zone . The researcher used random sampling to get the sample. Various research instruments such as questionnaires with information collected from various schools in the zone wereused. The data collected was analyzed by use of tables, bar graphs and pie charts. The researchers issued teachers, parents and the pupils with questionnaires to fill accordingly. The research tool provided made the exercise easy to the researcher. The researcher then sat down and analyzed the information provided in the questionnaires in order to draw conclusions and recommend if possible according to the findings.In conclusion the researcher found that basic education is vitae to the children and therefore maximum use of instructional materials appropriately is necessary.en_US
