The central problem in this study was that despite the fact that government and non-governmental organizations having put more effort in caring for orphans, there is no significant change in their living status and the challenges facing them are persistent making them perform poorly in education and in life, more so, the number is increasing rapidly. In the past, people used to care for the orphans and loved them, but these days they are so many, and many people have died who could have assisted them, and therefore orphan-hood is a common phenomenon, not strange. The purpose of this study was to investigate and determine Challenges facing orphans and vulnerable children students or learners in achieving their learning in Mumoni zone. Orphaned children are disadvantaged in numerous and often devastating ways. In addition to the trauma of witnessing the sickness and death of one or both parents, they are likely to be poorer and less healthy than non-orphans are. They are more likely to suffer damage to their cognitive and emotional development, less likely to go to school, more likely to be subjected to the worst forms of child labour. Survival strategies, such as eating less and selling assets, intensify the vulnerability of both adults and children. The purpose of this study was to investigate and determine Challenges facing orphans and vulnerable children students or learners in achieving their learning in Mumoni zone.en_US
