| dc.description.abstract | This study on the determinants of enrolment and performance of secondary school girls in Migwani Divsion , Kitui County. A background to the study given, statement of the problem and the purpose of the study. The objectives used include individual factors on girls attitude on subject choice and influence of school factors and social economic factors, on attitude on girls choice of science subjects it was hoped that the research would be useful to teachers, parents students and to the ministry of Education. It was based on Abraham Maslows theory of motivation which was advanced in 1943 in his A theory of motivation. A review of literature was done based on the three objectives. The research design used was the descriptive survey method with a target population of 5416 and the sampled size was 105. Research instruments used included questionnaires and interview schedules, Data analysis and presentation was done using tables and charts and a summary, conclusion and recommendation to the study made | en_US |
