dc.description.abstractStudents with visual impairments have unique educational needs which are most effectively met using a team approach of professionals, parents and students. To meet their unique needs, these students require specialized services, books and materials in appropriate media as well as specialized equipment and technology to ensure equal access to the core and specialized curricula. Head teachers have a role to play in facilitating effective implementation of the curriculum. As managers, they must use specific management strategies for effective implementation. The study carried out in the integrated primary schools in Bahari Sub-County Kilifi County. The study used the head teachers in integrated primary schools in Bahari Sub-County as the respondents. The study adopted quantative approach methodology. A questionnaire was used to gather data which was analyzed qualitative by descriptions. The study will be useful to the managers and curriculum developers since it will inform on the training needs of the head teachers in the management of the curriculum.en_US
